Here’s what you can expect from PowerUP:

Size Inclusive, Trauma-Informed Approach

You’re here to connect with your body through movement - tracking your weight, measuring your waist, pushing through pain, and ignoring your needs don’t belong here.

Movement should serve YOU, not the other way around.

Your Program May Include:

Foundational Strength

Primary strength skills and simple, low-stress routines. 20-40 minutes. Options include:

  • dumbbells and kettlebells

  • bands

  • off-the-floor and seated options

Intermediate Strength

More challenging skill variations and combinations. 30-60 minutes. Choose from:

  • dumbbells and kettlebells

  • full gym (commercial or at home)

Active and passive moves to improve your quality of life and give you those feel-good vibes. ~20 minutes.

Mobility

Conditioning Movement

Build your stamina using any movement you like: walking, running, swimming, seated marches, cycling, etc. These workouts use heart rate tracking or perceived effort levels to get you working - but not too hard.

20-45 minutes.

Movement Snacks

Super simple circuits that add some energy into your day. 5-15 minutes.

  • no equipment (travel friendly) strength

  • DB/KB strength

  • conditioning

  • mobility

  • off-the-floor and seated options

The App

Your customized PowerUP program is delivered in the PowerUP Movement app, where you can see movements demonstrated by PowerUP coaches (usually Sarah), track your consistency, and connect with others in PowerUP!.

Each assignment includes instructional videos created by Sarah, Christine, or Angel, with physical demonstration + voiceover instruction.

You have to option to further customize your experience by tracking your weights lifted, adding/taking away sets, and taking notes at the end of every workout.

We want your movement experience to be as frustration-less as possible. All the fitness lingo is explained, and you can text your coach any time with questions.

When you join the PowerUP Community, you also get:

  • global group chat

  • affinity groups

  • educational workshops

  • access to recordings of previous workshops

HAES trainer Fort Worth fitness

The secret sauce is you - because you’re the only one who really knows what your body needs.

Hey, I’m Sarah - a trainer who also feels left out in classic fitness spaces!

I never played team sports, I thought exercise = weight loss for years, didn’t lift weights until college, and I often get overstimulated and overwhelmed at the gym.

When I started exercising, I was obsessed with looking smaller. Now I move because I want to be able to help people in my life who need a strong buddy - it also helps that I feel more prepared for a zombpocalypse.

Movement is a fantastic tool for connecting to your body, moving through trauma, overcoming your self-imposed barriers, and building the life you want.

You can have all of that without pursuing intentional weight loss or shaming yourself into the gym. Let me show you how!
